Nomination Qualification Checklist

To ensure your nomination meets the eligibility requirements, before you submit, please confirm the following:

  • Your client consents to a 30-minute interview with the judging panel.
  • Permission to mention the client company name in media announcements, including finalist and winner announcements.
  • Permission to use the client logo in awards-related materials and media.

Nomination Guidelines

  •  Eligibility: Engagements must have commenced on or after 1 January 2024 and must demonstrate delivery within the Australia and New Zealand region.
  • Submission: One case study per category per provider. No submission fees.
  • Validation: Client consents to a 30-minute interview with the judging panel.
  • ISG Media Release: Two media announcements – Finalist and Winners. Only provider and client names will be announced publicly. Early client permission is recommended for media inclusion.

 Awards Judging Process:

  • Each award category will be assessed by a panel of ISG advisors, who will shortlist three finalists.
  • Final winners will be selected by an independent external judge.

  • Creating a compelling case study and a strong award nomination involves careful planning, clear communication, team collaboration and a focus on key achievements.
  • Select the most compelling category. Remember one nomination per category – make it your best one.

Define the Objective:

  • Clearly articulate the purpose of the case study. What problem does it address, and what solutions were implemented?
  • Choose a case study that demonstrates significant success for both you and your client.
     

Provide Background Information:

  • Including context about the company, industry, or market conditions that set the stage for the case study.
     

State the Challenge

  • Clearly describe the challenge or issue faced. Use data or anecdotes to highlight the severity and importance of the challenge.


Detail the Solution:

  • Explain the strategies and actions taken to address the challenge. Be specific about methodologies, tools, and processes used.


Highlight Outcomes and Results:

  • Provide quantifiable results (metrics, KPIs) that demonstrate the impact of the solution. Use graphs, tables, or visuals where applicable.


Include Testimonials:

  • Incorporate quotes or feedback from stakeholders or clients to lend credibility to the case study.


Use Clear and Engaging Language:

  • Write in a concise and engaging manner. Avoid jargon unless necessary and ensure clarity for all audiences.


Structure Effectively:

  • Use a clear structure, often including these sections: Introduction, Challenge, Solution, Results, and Conclusion.


Visuals and Formatting:

  • Enhance readability with visuals, graphs, and bullet points. Ensure the layout is professional and aesthetically pleasing.


Collaboration:

  • Ensure the buyer and sales pursuit team have input and agrees to the nomination
